ChirpView 1.09 and RxDelay 1.01 (Public beta releases)

This is a public beta version of ChirpView. This version corrects some bugs in the original release and adds some new features:

1. The ability to use a "generic" (i.e. non-GPS) pulse-per-second signal for the timing reference. This allows the use of GPS receivers without a suitable NMEA data output, or other non-GPS timing sources.

2. An "ionogram" mode which allows the production of ionograms in conjuction with suitable software (not supplied by me!) with which to control the receiver.

For more information, see the release notes.

To use this version, you must have first downloaded the original release, which you can find here. Then download this file and follow the instructions in the "readme" file inside the ZIP to install and use the beta version.

If there are no reports of bugs in this version, the next version will be 1.10 and together with an updated help file, etc. will constitute Release 2 of ChirpView.

Warning! Because this is a beta version, it has not been subjected to the same level of testing as a final release. Please be very careful to guard against losing anything important in the event that the program crashes your system. I will not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred due to the use of this software. Use it at your own risk! Please report any bugs to me.

RxDelay 1.01 (public beta)

A public beta version of RxDelay is now also available. This version brings the signal processing in to line with recent releases of ChirpView. See the release notes for more information. Click here to download the beta version. The same warnings given above for the beta release of ChirpView apply also to this software!
